Don,<BR>Yes, you could have a bad converter. I had this myself many years ago in a '68 Torino I had. <BR>Are you sure though, that you re-checked all engine specs first? (Timing, Spark, Firing Order, ect.)<BR>If so, did you check for loose or missing converter to flywheel bolts? Cracks in flywheel? I'm running out of ideas. Have you had anyone look at it with you?<BR>Let us know,<BR>Rick<P><BR>

Can A torque converter go bad in such a way<BR>as to cause the engine to vibrate when reved <BR>up in park. If yes, is this a common occurance? Thanks Don
