Hi again,
I wonder which material is more durable for the ragtop, Vynal/Cloth?
What kind of materials were the ragtops made in for the Reatta?
Also my 1990 Convertible with just 25K miles is White/White Top, and Tan Leather interior. In the future I wouldn't mind the Top to be Navy.
Any Ideas?
Oh , also the serial number of this vehicle is: 1G4EC33CXLB906018
many thanks
Prakash
Prakash
The material is called Stayfast. It is a cloth/vinyl type combination. It is very durable. The f-body & Y-body use use it as well. Thats if my memory is still functioning correctly.
Brad

The 90 model convertible was offered with white vinyl, tan vinyl, black vinyl, and black cloth. A red and blue vinyl are shown in the 90 order guide but none were ever built. For 91 the black cloth was dropped and only the white, tan, and black vinyl was offered. The SPO label in the spare tire area will have a code which will tell you what color and material the car was originally built with.
