Guest
I have a question that I need a definitive answer to if possible. On my 1950 Roadmaster 76R is the body ID plate that is located on the right cowl painted the same color as the car or plain metal? I just got the rivets to replace the phillips screws that attached the plate to the cowl. Also , any ideas where I can get the correct hood insulation/padding for my beauty? Thanks. You should be able to get his e mail from the home page.
As far as the hood insulation, Buick Specialists has the proper pad. They are in Kent, WA. They also have an excellent spray adhesive, that I recomend you buy from them as well. Remember the smooth side goes to the metal of the hood, and the fibreglas shows. I've seen a lot of ones in backwards.
Pleas post your reply from Rick, as we all are curious on this one. I've been told if varies from year to year, on if it is painted or not.
Scott
