  1. My transmission started leaking fluid a couple of weeks ago and it was diagnosed as a leaking side pan gasket. One shop told me they needed to take the tranny out to change it and recommended resealing the whole thing for 700.oo + tax. Another place told me they might be able to replace the side pan gasket without taking the tranny out. my 1990 reatta has 103,000 miles on it. It shifts fine when the fluid is filled to specs. Does the tranny have to come out to fix the side pan gasket? Is 700. fair for reseal? If the side pan gasket is the only one leaking should I do a whole reseal? Thank you ahead of time your advice is always very helpful Brandon

  4. Thank you for your help with the dashboard. Is there a special screwdriver to take the screws out or are they just stripped. It looks like almost a star driver would get them out. Thank you again for your help. Brandon
  5. I just bought a 1990 buick reatta. the switches for the head lights and fog and interior lights are pushed through and the small circuit board has been rigged so that the lights will turn on with a few wires. I would like to replace the ciruit board and was wondering how much work is involved. ie taking off the dash, wiring. the lights all work go up and down but i want to buy the switch panel and the cicuit board and make it right. thanks for your help...new reatta guy
