  1. Hi Does anyone have any suggestions to were I can find a 1929 Chrysler Westinghouse 1000 6-8 Volt 32 & 32C Headlight Bulbs? Thanks Jim Placerville, California Jim@Seahorses.com
  2. I would like to thank all of you for the help and suggestions, This is a donated car to the Automobile Museum, and we do find that a lot of them with incorrect bulbs have been installed.(and a lot of other things, we just found a well rusted lug nut in the head of a 1929 Chrysler) I did test at the socket with the brake petale pushed down, and power came through around 6 volts. The tail light lights up when the lights are turned on. Looking at it I do not think the pins are aligned (matched) on the socket and bulb, that is what got me thinking that it could be the incorrect bulb.. (I will look at the 1158 and 1154 Bulbs) Thank you for the help and suggestions. Jim Placerville, California
  3. What Bulb should go in a 1936 Plymouth Tail Light? Currently it has a 1157 in it, but I can not get the brake light to work, it does have power to it when the brake petal is pressed, but the light does not light. Looking at it I do not think the pins are aligned (matched) on the socket and bulb. I have been doing internet searches, but I can not find what is the current 6 volt bulb is that should go it in. Thank you for the help Jim

  8. You might be correct about it being an oiler, you are the second person to suggest it be a oiler. Thanks Jim
  9. Hi Bob I do not think it is missing, I think it was redesigned to work with out the glass settling bowl. It looks like the bottom of the Vacuum were the bowl goes has been sealed. ( Have uploaded a picture showing it sealed.) The problem I am having, is I am not sure how the existing setup is suppose to work. Take care Jim
