  1. Ok...brake switch is fine, next thing on the to do list is to leave the battery cable off for an hour instead of dissconnect/reconnect/reset all codes from inside the display.
  2. What I can't seem to find in the manual is if the brake switch is supposed to be hi or lo when I'm testing everything in the BCM inputs.
  3. Ok...did the reatta.net documentation test and everything cycles out. I guess I'm gonna reset the ECM and try it out again.
  4. I have a cruse control problem. I get code B667, which is Cruise Switch Shorted During Enable. Cruise worked fine before my ignition lock cylinder replacement. So I figure that one of the contacts is touching wrong on the contact plate. What I need to know is, <span style="font-weight: bold">Starting from the top down, which contact touches what plate run? </span>There's 4 plate runs, and one is the horn, which works fine.
  5. Thanks ya'll...just got sent some connectors out of a broken TSS that someone had laying around. Thanks for the suggestion that they are interchangable...as Advanced Auto's website say I can only get one out of just a handful of models.
  6. I'm a broke college student, if I can find this piece, that save me $$. I can't afford to buy and entire assembly. The brst I'd expect Mr. Finn to be able to get it to me is ~$100. That's about ~$90 more than I have. Anyone have an idea where I can find this one connector. Gonna be hitting the junkyard Monday before class.
  7. Went outside today and played with the car. Seems that all I need is this...if I can find it. Where can I find one, or does anyone have one they can send me for a couple of bucks? Definitely don't want to have to spend $150 on a new TSS if I can find this damned connector.
  8. Been digging around trying to get the fawker out...where does the wiring connect to? How do I get it out? That's the main thing holding me up right now.
  9. Check your fluid level, that pump is sucking air.
  10. Slipped while putting everything back together and broke off a cruise control brush. No crusie control SUCKS! (one of those 4 spade looking things that ride on the connector plate) How hard is it just to replace it...say if I found one at a junkyard? (Not paying $103 for a new one, I'm a broke college student) How is it replaced, I'm looking at the reatta.net page with the manuals and I'm confused by it.
  11. I managed to get it to where it will work, but kinda hangs just a bit. How much is the rack? Can I tell if it's broken like the 2nd pic without completely tearing apart the column? I'm willing to bet I did break it when I had to move the ignition switch via a rod using a screwdriver. And for the Friday figure, g/f decided she's coming with me on the 400 mile trip...so 38-40mpg Honda > 25-27(best I've gotten)mpg car, even subtracting the no cruise control factor.
  12. Old lock cylinder, well, decided it didn't wanna work anymore. So I pulled the wheel off, pulled the lock plate off, and removed the set screw that allows the cylinder to be removed. Pulled the rack back to the ACC position, did the same with the new cylinder, and put everything back on except for the wheel. The ignition gets stuck in run after I start the car. I have to pull everything off, yank the cylinder. push the rack a little down and to the right and I can tun it off with a screwdriver. I tried figuring out what is holding with the lock plate off and putting in the cylinder and starting it. I thought it was this, I guess spring, that's on top of the rack with a bend in the end that has it's own little indention in the column for it. Messing with it didn't help a thing.... WTF is holding it up? Trying to get this car done by Friday.
  13. I did a few searches, but couldn't find the answer. The passenger side window only rolls down about a quarter of the way, then just makes a grinding noise. That'd be the gears stripped in the motor? And my other question is how do I tell if the car has keyless entry. When I got the car, I didn't get a door key or remote, just an ignition key, and it would be nice to be able to lock the doors for once.
  14. When I press the test button on the dash of my Riviera, a security light comes on. Does that mean my car has a security system? The only thing I got for it when I bought it was a ignition key. Speaking of that, where can I have a door key made for me? The local stealership doesn't want to look up the key code/can't (not sure which one) to cut me a door key. The last locksmith I tried couldn't figure out the code to make one.
