  1. I searched the internet for where to find the numbers on my Bel Air to find the engine size... and to no avail. Some of the numbers I've found in/around the engine are v0516TDJ and 3846559A LH 2 SCC I do not believe this engine to be stock. this car has a V8 Edelbrock Engine If these numbers arent what I need to use to find the size, where do I find them? Any help with finding the size and info on SB/BB is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Craig
  2. Ah, should've thought of that. Thanks
  3. This is my grandmother's Jeep Willys, she says that it is a 1960. When I looked for images of a 1960, I couldn't find any with a cover over the bed like this one has. Is it aftermarket or what? Neither of us know much about this vehicle, so if you know anything about it, please post it! 4. I believe my 1955 Belair has some bad gas in it. When i tried to insert a syphoning tool into it, the tube kept hitting something before it could get into the gas tank. Is there something that could be blocking it? Should I try a diffrent tool? I'd prefer to not have to do it by mouth, but if it needs something bigger like a hose, then so be it.
  5. Very clean! I've got a '72 Honda CL 100, but its just for messing around. Not a hint of shiny chrome on it!
  6. I recently inherited a car from my grandpa, a 1955 chevrolet Bel Air, and the car is idling very low and dies if the accelerator is not pressed. I spent over 1000$ on a brake job and now this happens, so I am trying to keep this in my garage, with minimal professional help. The carburator is Holley, I have no idea what model. The throttle plate is fixed, and I am wondering how to loosen it so it will move as it is supposed to. If it is not the plate, any ideas what it could be?
