  2. I know this is an old question, but will a CRT out of an 89 Riviera work properly in my 89 Reatta? I need one. Thanks
  3. Thanks alot Reattajohn. I'll try another Advance Auto Parts store as the dunce behind the counter said they didn't have a part # on it. Slim
  4. Here I go again, I found the right illustration it is 3c3,#9 bolt is what I am talking about and #8 spacers are what I am missing. Wonder where in the world I can get these?
  5. Let me explain this a little better the head of the bolt is at the bottom and ravels up into the sway bar. Maybe I got the wrong diagram but I can't seem to find the right picture. Thanks Again. Slim
  6. No Barney I can't post a picture, but if you look in the Factory Service Manual and go to the illustration on 3c7 you will see a bolt with 2 retainers and 2 insulators mounted on this bolt. To me it just looks like the bolt/bolts need bushings, but the manual calls them insulators. Thank You very much for your reply '
  7. While changung the transaxle filter and oil I happened to noyice that one bolt at each lower control arm was just hanging threre. This is my first front wheel drive car and am not familar with them but there is according to the Factory service manual 2 insulators that should go on each of these bolts. Can anyone help me out with this. Right now there are no insulators at all on either bolt. What can I use to replace these so called insulators? Thank You, Slim
  8. I found the problem. The line that runs from the modulator up to the black junction box on top of the intake plenum has broken off the junction box. Thats the reason for the smoke coming from the exhaust I guess as it was burning tranny fluid. Now I wonder where I can find this junction block?
  9. Thanks for all the info guys . I will check out the Modulator vacum line as Padgett says, and yes the car ran fine right into my driveway. Not till I changed the oil and started it up did I hear the racket from the Transaxle. Thankyou Again, Slim
  10. Went for a 200 mile drive today and when I got home I changed the oil and filter and when I checked the Transaxle fluid level it was bone dry on the dip stick! I had to add 3 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid and although it shifts fine and doesn't slip it does have a little whine. This makes me sick as I have seen no leaks and the car only has 52,000 miles. Obviously I can't trust the car to go out of town. All opions are welcome. Thanks , Slim
  11. O.K. great idea. I will need these new steering end links when I drive the Reatta up to the North Georgia Mountains next fall. Just hope the back is better and will be able to crawl underneath the car and replace them. Thanks Again, Slim
