  1. That's funny because it says Dodge Brothers right on the body tag
  2. I am very confused. Just found out that my black out model Dodge Brothers 2 1/2 ton was a 1944 NOT a 1945. How can this be?? I though they only made black out models in 1945.
  3. I have found the Build Record Form on another forum. If you want to email me I can send it back as an attachment. JacquelineHallahan@hotmail.com
  4. I used the serial number ( metal plate in the door jam ) to register my 45. Seem to be the number that will give you the most info about the truck. Good luck
  5. The model number along with the serial number shoulb be located on a metal plate in the door jam
  6. Finally starting a resto on my Black out model 2 1/2 ton Dodge Brothers Truck. Made in Windsor ON. Scouting for parts and literature. Thanks JacquelineHallahan@hotmail.com
  7. Hey, just wondering if anyone has an Dodge Brothers literature from the job rated era. Looking for any info on 1945 Black out models produced in Windsor Ontario. I've got alot of work ahead of me. Thanks in advance
  8. while you're at it, I was wondering if you could decode an earlier year. 90020991 model # is DD6S60 2 1/2 ton
  9. Seems like we have it easy here in Canada. Unbolted the serial number plate from the truck, brought it to the court house, signed an affadavit, then registered it as usual. Piece of Cake
  10. Has to either be a 1946 or 1947. 1945 was a black out model and yours has chrome so it rules that out and the grill style changed after 1947. Should be a date on the passenger's side of the bell housing that wil be within about 30 days of the actual date of production. You you are thinking of selling it or any parts, or you need more info, let me know. JacquelineHallahan@hotmail.com Is this a Canadian or American truck??
  11. Just wondering if is an American or Canadian modedl
  12. Check out the Coker Tire web site at www.coker.com Their prices are good and they have every type and size of tire you could possibly need. Definately worth a look. Wouldn't want to risk putting on radials and finding out later that they won't work. Not worth the headache.
