  5. I'm sure this topic has been talked about before but I thought I would post it anyways. I have been the lucky recipient of SEVERAL early Road & Track and Sports Car Graphic magazines. On the rear cover of a couple of 1958 dated SportsCar Graphic is an ad from the Studebaker-Packard Corporation featuring a Mercedes Benz 190 SL. I thought it was a cool ad so I thought I would share it here for those that may not have seen one before: http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/LS3SS/?action=view&current=pacardmaga.jpg I took particular interest in the ad because of my love for the Packard marque, I own a '41 110 convert. If anyone is interested in buying the magazine I will consider letting it go, Thanks ..Brian Scoles
  6. I came across a local gentleman that had a bunch of his father's 1941 Packard parts for sale, I was able to buy most of them for my '41 convert. I came across these lights: http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/LS3SS/?action=view&current=packardlites.jpg I don't know what they're for but I'm sure someone here knows and will make me a fair and honest offer on them if they need them. I'm pretty sure they are brand new but aftermarket. I can be reached at brian@gocamaro.com or please feel free to call me 416-460-4863, Thankss.. Brian Scoles.
  7. I have been very fortunate and come across several early Road & Track magazines. The February 1966 issue has a great article on the Buick Riviera GS. http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/LS3SS/?action=view&current=Rivmaga1.jpg http://s14.photobucket.com/albums/a317/LS3SS/?action=view&current=Rivmaga2.jpg The magazine is way too nice to cut up so I'm selling it complete, the asking price is $20.00. If interested I can be contacted at brian@gocamaro.com or please feel free to call me at 416-460-4863, Thankss, Brian Scoles.
  8. Albert.. What is the best way to contact you so we could discuss this some more? Restorer32... You've descibed the bow perfectly and I think your understanding my dilema, if you were closer to me I would certainly be trying to convince you to take this challenge on. I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you, would a phone call be OK? Thank You, Brian.
  9. I am from the Toronto area and I'm a new member to this board as well as the AACA. I am the owner of a 1941 Packard 110 convertible coupe that is pretty complete other than the front header bow for my convertible top. Can any members here help either find someone that will reproduce the header bow or set me up with a used one that is in good enough condition to use. I would like to mention that the very kind gentleman at Oak Bows in PA has given me his pattern to use as a template but at this time he (Rich) would rather not take on the job. It is a very complex piece and I'm having a real problem finding someone to make me a copy or supply me with a used one. Any help is greatly appreciated... Thank You, Brian Scoles. brian@gocamaro.com
