  1. Thanks guys but I don't think it's a hot rod piece. Been collecting old speed /hot rod parts for better part of 25 years and I have never seen the detail on anything I have come across before. The face comes off and is sandwiched between the backing plate and the gauges. Here is a photo of the back side. Sorry for the blurry photo but you can see it was made with some thought.
  2. I have no idea and seeing this place is riddled with some of the best experts... Takes seven gauges so I figure big car in the '28-'34 range. Then again, I could be WAY off. It is a very detailed piece. Have at it, fellas!

  4. Right you are Bob! I got attaching parts as well. It's a steel clamp/hasp and chain deal. I knew they went on the spares just hoping somebody can ID them. Thanks for the responce Bob.
  5. Got these awhile ago but have no clue what they are for. Any ideas? Seeing we have the most informed car addicts, this should be easy!

Not much good on early cars, though. Wayne </div></div> haha! That's funny Wayne! I only figured it out by chance. Seems somebody at the Ross plant was kind enough to stamp the date, 08-07-28, into the box. It was covered by grease so I didn't see it the first time. If anything, I know the box is '28!
  7. 1928 in case anybody was wondering...
  8. Picked this up but I don't know what it was for. No numbers or stampings anywhere... The radiator is just sitting on there, not part of this frame. Any clues?
  9. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">1913 Oakland </div></div> That might not be it. Close though. Thanks Layden & oldiron. The nickle plate or lack thereof threw me as well. Here is a '13 Oakland. There is a reveal just above the the core as where this one I have has none. And the Oakland is round as where this one is more angled across the top tank. Earlier Oakland? 1913 Oakland
  10. The bolt pattern and the 17" rim size lead me to say Cadillac. '34-'35.
  11. I'm thinking this for 1912 Chev. The only pictures I can find look alot like this one but the filler neck is alittle different. It has been recored or repaired at some time. Pay no attention to the cowl. They aren't a match set. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  12. I bought this off a fellow sight unseen but have no clue what year it's for! Any ideas? Too bad the wheel emblem is broken. I included a photo of the Ross box and numbers in case that may help put a year to it.
  13. Thanks Mr. Pushbuttons! That's them. 24th and 25th series. Took me awhile to get the time to check it out. Great site! Seems I have the entire set.
  14. I just came across some tools made by KR Wilson for Packards. Triple gang gauge for tune up and 2 boxes of bearing drivers and a big 3 legged tool that looks to be for distributor rebuilding but I'm not sure. I'll post some pictures shortly. I knew KRW made some tools but never seen these before. Anybody seen these before or have a list of what tools KR Wilson made for Packard? Thanks!
  15. Pulled these out of the darkness the other day along with bunch other ones I forgot I had but can't for the life of me remember what years! Any help would be great! I THINK they were for a '34. And this one. Missing his bow and arrow...
