In the market for a #1 1965 Riviera GS. The car must be numbers matching (original engine block and all components, transmission, and differential). Prefer a turnkey restored car or rust free all original that's all there. No GS recreations, clones etc. folks. I'm a serious cash buyer for the right car. Will consider all colors with the exception of white. I'm looking to find owners, or members with information on the 50 '88 Cutlass International Series convertible Indy Pace Car replicas that were produced (I realize some coupes were badged this way too--however my focus is on the verts.). I know a few still exist, however with GM offering to re-purchase them shortly after their release (purportedly over safety concerns--rollover crash protection) for sale to the public following the 500 in May of 1988, there's really no solid records regarding how many of them were spared from the crusher. Please respond back if you are the owner of one of these cars; know someone I could connect with that owns one (I've talked to one gentleman thus far); or have any more solid detail (documented or potential folklore) you can share. Bought a GNX so my '87 GN needs a new home. The car has 9,725 original miles and has been collector owned by the previous owners as well as me. Car is stock down to the tires save for an aftermarket air box and fuel pump (have orginal parts). Well optioned non-t-top car with PW,PL,Pwr Antenna, Pwr trunck release, Pwr.
