  1. Thank you for your input. I think you probably identified it correctly. I am attaching what a Google Image search identified as a 1917 Maxwell. John Storms first auto photo shows a rounded radiator appearance which looks to me like a spare tire or tube hanging about it. I suspect that may have been a common practice at the time. Were shiny headlights and radiators as well as black ones common in that era?
  2. I ran across a photo of my father-in-law standing beside and old coupe, presumably next to Lake Michigan in Chicago. My wife wanted me to find our what kind and age auto it was. I would appreciate any assistance.
