  1. i'm selling the eng. & trans out of my 1941 plymouth business coupe. i believe the engine is a 87 hp, 6 - cyl, 201. both engine and trans are the original components to my car. with the engine i have all of the carb linkage as well as all of the trans linkage. i also got the starter rebuilt...never put it in,slight change of plans. the emgine turns over,hasn't run in a long time. the parts are in belleville nj. looking to get $500 or best offer. i know someone out there can find a home for this stuff ...it's way to valuablr to go to the boneyard!! here is my email.... mullskull@verizon.net

  3. do you smell that to...i think it's an old fart!! hey don't be so damn uptight,i was looking for a starting point on getting some direction with this project.thanks to all of you that helped me out. just fer the record...i ain't no butcher. i totally understand the value in a fully restored stock vehicle. there is nothing prettier that outdated technology.... as for my vehicle stock is not an option...it just doesn't apeal to me no matter what it is stock isn't my thing. sorry for offending you with my project and misspelling!! is any one interested in buying the engine & trans from me...the starter is rebuilt and all the linkages are in great shape!!
  4. i own a 1941 plymouth business coupe.i bought it totally stock and i would like to put a early 60's v8 & drive train into the car. what i don't want to do is put in a sub frame....i'm looking to keep the frame & front suspention as stock as possible.would also like to install disc brakes in the front/dual resiviour master cyl. where can i get some technical advise on the best way to do this... most of these cars that i've seen have either sub frames fabricated in or are stock!!
