  1. I bought a junker 1955 pontiac that I was going to use for parts, but the car is in such solid condition I decided that it could be a good project car. However, I don't have a title and in Pennsylvania it seems that it is impossible to get one. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.
  2. Can anyone recommend a place or person in PA that restores pontiac motors? You can e-mail me at rjoyce@ptd.net
  3. The above post has been revised. I am now parting the car.
  4. I am parting a 1941 olds "78" sedanette. Let me know if there is anything you need. Also, I have NOS front and rear fenders, running board chrome, and other nos parts. email me with your needs. rjoyce@ptd.net

  7. I am looking to see if anyone can recommend someone is PA or NJ to rebuild my 1941 Oldsmobile straight 8 motor? I am restoring the car to stock, and can do most of the bodywork but have no experience working with motors. Thanks for your help. -Rich
  8. Can anyone recommend an engine shop in the PA or NJ area that would be able to rebuild a 8 cylinder motor from a 1941 oldsmobile?
  9. You can try The Parts House the phone number is 817-451-2708. I got a NOS front fender for my olds. By the way, I am looking for the taillight bezels, interior rear windshield trim, trunk license plate light and battery tray for a 1941 olds "78" sedanette if you may know of any sources.
  10. Thanks for all the information. I ordered one yesterday. -Rich
  11. Does anyone know of an engine stand that will hold a straight 8 motor (from a 1941 olds)? Thanks
  12. I am restoring a 1941 "78" sedanette (I was originally planning on streetrodding it but history got the best of me so I plan on keeping it stock. I was looking for some leads for salvage yards or suppliers that might help me find some of the parts that were not with the car when I bought it. Some things I need are a air cleaner assembly (for the straight 8), taillight bezels, and rear 1/4 panel molding. I sure that there are a lot of other things I will also need along the way so any help that you could offer would be appreciated. Thanks, Rich
