  7. I wish you had got the 40 pickup as well!!! As a matter of fact it was from the yard north of York and close to Harrisburg, my friend had been burning up his vacation time at the end of last year and made several trips there, I accompanied on one of his visits and can honestly say that I really didnt think much of what was left when I got there. hausdok.. the car you pictured was not the car that I pulled parts from.
  8. did you buy the pair that were in lansdale pa area?
  9. i picked some parts off of a Packard hawk back in December a few miles from where "restorer32" lives!! sadly the car had deteriorated to the point that the hood letters were about all that I could save.. i have all but one if someone by chance might need them

  11. at the fall meet in 2010 I met a vendor in the orange field who was able to reproduce handles in stainless steel.. I lost their card and am hoping someone knows the vendor I speak of.. I believe they were from the lebanon / annville PA area.. (close to hershey) furthermore I believe this was a woman owned business.
  12. steve mack.. well said.. this weekend I find that I am suffering from PHD.. Post Hershey Depression this year was great as usual.. but I wasnt looking for 1970's era lincoln parts.. if I were. I am sure I could find them though contacts I could find at Hershey.. a photo from the "unload" Sunday following my trip.. yes. I drove the Woodie to and from the show. yes I came home with a spare 40 deluxe hood strapped to the roof rack.. (that I bought saturday morning for less than any other hood I've ever bought) YES.. I cant wait for next year.. more details of my weekends antics here: The Recycled 40 Ford Woodie Project Mr Moskowitz i passed you on the field Friday, and wish I would have stopped you to introduce myself, but I believe we were both in a hurry.. .. I guess I'll wait until I have the oppertunity for Mr. Walters to introduce us sometime.. best wishes.. sawzall
  13. the 46's were very similar to the 47's the 48's were body by fisher (so they are the same body.. minus small details) as the chevys of the same year. I am not certain which company built the 46's or 47's
