  1. Looking for a 66 Mustang coupe with the 200-6 & automatic trans. A nice Sprint 200 like the one pictured would be perfect. It needs to be a solid, clean, respectable & fully functional driver in Northeast FL area, give or take an hour or so. Let me know what you have, Thanks for looking
  2. Looking for a clean, respectable, driver quality car in the NE Florida area. No GS or 442s please. I love them but don't want to pay up or fuel one of those. 2 doors preferred, but I have no problem with sedans or in the case of 71-72 Buicks, Sportwagons. What do you have?
  3. Scary that they walk among us daily. Imagine the other corners being cut.
  4. My '32 Auburn 8 would get 16-17 on a road trip. The '63 F100 with a 223-6 3speed & 3.9:1 rear axle used to get that much around town, but with today's fuel lucky to see 12. I am thinking about buying a 72 Buick Skylark which has the base Buick 350 2 barrel & Turbo 350 trans. I am wondering what to expect with it. Someone on the Buick postwar forum suggested 12-14 town and maybe as much 20 on the highway. Anyone here have any experience with a Skylark of this vintage?
  5. We recently moved to NE Florida, about 5 miles from the beach as the crow flies. There are a lot of clean decent old cars in the area, I think the key is not being right on the coast. In my opinion being just a few miles inland helps a lot. Under no circumstances never ever drive a car you care about on the beach.
  6. Torque wrench. I had access to Dad's Craftsman hand tools, but he didn't have one of these.
  7. Hi all. I have found a clean 72 Skylark Custom hardtop that I may buy. Has the base 350 2 barrel with the turbo 350. Not modified at all other than a dual exhaust system, not a performance one. Would like to hear thoughts about the gas mileage I should expect with modern fuels. I will going to a cruise event on occasion, but I like to drive, and plan on doing more than cruises. We had a similarly equipped 72 Sportwagon in the early 80s, but I really don’t remember what it did, wasn’t as big a consideration then. thanks in advance.
  8. I already own a 63 F100 with a 223 six, this would compliment it nicely.
  9. Have a running F100 flareside I need to get south. There are some parts for it strapped down & tarped in the bed, nothing high much above the bed rails or hanging out. Can supply pics of the rig packed and ready. Pickup zip is 44241, drop off zip is 32086. The truck has the 114” wheelbase and the short 6.5 ft flareside bed. Please Let me know. 10. Been too busy with moving to get back on & note it was sold.
  11. ***Now sold, thanks for looking. 1959 Ford 223-6 from a Ford sedan. I saw the engine running smoothly prior to purchase. Since that time it has been on an engine stand in my dry garage where it was oiled & spun twice annually. Also have the standard 3 Speed manual from the Ford car along with 2 flywheels (1 6cyl car, 1 6cyl truck). Also have at least a 61-64 F100 6 bell housing, may have the 59 car version too. Have NO manifolds. The Offenhauser cast valve cover and standard tin one both go with the sale as does the engine stand. $250 OBO. Located Ravenna OH
  12. Ford Warner Gear OD trans from 292 equipped 62 Galaxie. I have not opened it, but it spins freely and shift arms switch gears. I removed this from the Galaxie about 25 years ago and it has been sitting in my dry garage since. What you see in the pics is what you get. Asking $450. Located in Ravenna OH
  13. ^^^^SEE Newer ad with MORE pics I have a 3 speed OD trans from a '62 292 equipped Galaxie that I harvested about 25 years ago. it's been sitting in a dry garage since. I have some linkage pieces, and a driveshaft that I believe I got from the Galaxie. I was going to put this in my 223-6 equipped 63 F100, but as it hasn't happened yet, may as well let someone else have it. Hopefully I can get a pic or two up shortly.
  14. Thanks to all who responded. To be honest, I never planned to sell them individually, as others stated, it is way too much time & effort for limited return. Was hoping someone in a position to market them might go a buck or 50 cents a piece. Come and get them, and they are yours for free. They comprise three boxes approx. the size of a case of copier paper reams. We are trying to get the hose cleaned out for sale, so if no interest, they will go to recycling next week.
  15. Hi Terry. Am looking to get rid of the entire lot, I would be quite happy to get them into the hands of someone who wants them.
