  1. Back in the 70's a friend of mine who dealt in parts had a NOS early style for sale. I didn't have a car to use it on at the time. I thought it was interesting but didn't buy it and of course for the last 37 years wish I did.
  2. The 2 styles are also displayed in the News service bulletins by Chevrolet. The later style actually replaced the exhaust pipe, instead of wrapping around it, with a shroud that had the exhaust pipe inside it. The down side of these heaters were if there were any exhaust leaks present in the exhaust pipe inside the shroud, the CO exhaust would go directly into the passenger compartment. Are your parts books for sale and do you know of any parts for either style...many thanks
  3. I belong to the VCCA and have only seen one car with it but never got a chance to talk to the owner of the car. It started to rain and when I went back to find him he had left the show. I am sure there are people that have them it is just a little harder to make the connection. Thanks for your comments.

  6. Could someone tell me if a 1936 Cadillac Model 85 V12 Town Sedan should have an emblem on the front grille. If so is it the same as on the V8 models - arrowhead shaped with a cadillac crest black background with a red stripe on one side. If not and someone has a picture they could show or would have one for sale let me know. email:dzchevy@msn.com Thanks Doug
