  1. The low gear fork was engaged, and the shift lever moved to neutral and beyond. I took the flooring, toe boards all necessary assemblies to get at the top of the transmission. I found the gear fork engaged and moved it to the neutral position. reassembled the top shifter cover.I am not sure what caused the problem or will the low gear fork give me more trouble? I have the car on jack stands and ran thru the gears with the motor running. It seems to work fine. I do plan to drive the car for short distances (20 miles)The centrifical overdrive did kick in about 35mph.
  2. My centrifical clutch transmission locks up..It stays in low gear. The shifter lever moves freely, but will not shift back into low gear cog. Does anybody have these problems, and how do you fix it?
