  1. If I’m not mistaken when I checked the plugs I put the high beams on all four sockets have power when turned the high beams off there was no power going to any plugs.
  2. So when the high beams are off check for power in the plugs on the low beams? I’m going to buy the switch anyway it’s only 6-7 bucks.
  3. I going to pep boys tomorrow to pick it up they had to order one. Can u believe nobody stocks these things. I will let you know thanks so much.
  4. I got a problem with my headlights. When I press the high beam switch All 4 lights come on when I press it again my regular lights don’t work. I have a 67 Chrysler Newport. Please if anyone has any thoughts of what it can be. I’m gonna change the switch and see what happens for the hell of it but if anyone know maybe what it can be please let me know. Thanks
  5. I got the break lights, all blinkers, high beams work some dash lights need bulbs. When I press the high beam switch the reg lights don’t light up. Inside lights I have to check bulbs. I still have to look threw a lot of shit but I’m getting there.
  6. My fuse box has only 3 fuses with power.there are only 6 for the whole car. Any help would be great. I was on here before about my lights not working. No headlights tail lights and brake lights.
  7. Yeah I know such retards. If you don’t know what your doing don’t mess with it.
  8. I found a plug in Texas from a junk yard. I hooked up the switch to the harness but the lights still don’t work. The wires that are hanging that are cut run along the drivers side and go to the back of the car. But I still don’t know where they go up front. And I noticed the wires from the voltage meter on the dash are hooked up to the gauge but the red one is cut and the black one is in the motor compartment not hooked up. They hooked up a red wire from the alternator to the ignition switch.
  9. Is anyone one familiar with a circuit breaker by the drivers side vent on the left of the high beam switch behind the air vent panel by your left foot It has a green wire and a red wire hooked to it. It says 30 amp/12volt on it.
  10. Yeah I don’t know terry I might just have to throw it in the shop and just get it rewired you know.
  11. Hey jack I’ll try it what do I have to loose. The back of the switch there are letters I have a letter P R H B1 and B2.
  12. Ok jack I appreciate it. The switch I have is a up and down switch like a toggle switch with 5 connectors on the back of the switch. Wires are red, black, white, yellow, and like a light green. If I can’t figure it out I’m just going to look for a shop that works on electrical. I’m better with motors and fixing parts whatever. Electrical is not my thing. Thanks jack.
  13. I found wiring diagram for it but it doesn’t show where the wires go on back of the switch. I even tried finding pictures of the connector. They only show pics of different years or different cars not this one only pic of the switch.
  14. If anyone out there with a 67 68 Chrysler Newport or 300 can tell me where the wires go on the back of the headlight switch I would really appreciate it thanks.
