First drive of the year today.

I remember a thread from years ago about someone who started on the rear wheel swap. And got halfway through and gave up on the project. I know I’ve seen at least two reattas with north stars in them. So that should be doable just don’t know how they did it.

John at the auto center in chappaqua is good. Haven’t done anything major on mine but friend of mines he did some work on. Was a GM mechanic for 25-30 years and knows the 3800 well. At the old readers digest headquarters.

Last weekend I parked next to another very original Buick.

Marcks Facebook group is extremely active. There’s definitely a lot of newer owners on there. They ask a lot of the common questions. If I know of a thread here I comment that. Or some of the great guides from Ronnie’s site. I have seen a handful of people who cross post here and there.

Yesterday was five years since I got mine. It’s still nice

I know there’s not too many people active here. But I made a Facebook group for New York Reatta owners. If anyone would like to join that’s the name. I’m in the White Plains area, if anyone wants to go to a show together.

That’s sad to hear. He was always such a great wealth of information and a great guy on here.

Not today but over the weekend I put my 91 away for the winter. Didn’t drive it that much this year. But next year I’m going to make an effort to do so more.

This car has been for sale for a long time. At least 6 months. I’ve been tempted to look at it but who knows if it’s still for sale.

I was able to get tires for my 91 last year pretty easily. Granted different size but they were the ones that it should have came with. Went through my local mechanic

One thing you could do that may help narrow it down is to go through the data base and see how many aren’t on the road anymore according to that. It helped me find out my car was a 1 of1.

I’ve seen one or two northstar reattas for sale. Definitely would be cool to do if you can. It did seem like there was even less space than the normal northstar engine bays

Yeh I know it’s really early. Idk if they’re any other earlier ones left out there.

I’ve had many times in Marcks group where I’ve posted links directly here or to the how to section or ronnies site. It’s usually some of the more common problems that I actually remember where to find the answers to lol.

I check in almost every day here. Marcks Facebook group is pretty active though

Good to know that funnels it to one spot. I just had an oil filter wrench that was a bit too big so I could get it in but not turn it. But I’ll be buying one soon to get this done.

Definitely have that the one at an angle on my 91. VIN 900068. What way do most people take this out? I was going to do an oil change today but I couldn’t get at it with the oil wrench I had. I think a socket type would be better.

Guess I’m the only one replying on here but whatever. Took my Reatta out yesterday for the first time in five months started right up after reconnecting the battery, as always.

The first time I put mine away for the winter I thought something broke since I couldn’t open the trunk after I disconnected the battery. It definitely was something that surprised me.

I took the advice of the guys on here and bought the nicest one I could afford. The higher mileage ones are fairly common. I made my own price guide when I was looking for one. All the edmunds and kbb type sites didn’t have super accurate info. People ask whatever they want since they’re rare. I’ve seen red/tan 90s with similar mileage with differences in price of thousands. So if this one is exactly what your looking for go for it. But it may be worth it to wait
