Looking for an engine and trans for my 1955 Buick special

The car is complete. Sitting in my garage for 10 years and my friends garage for 12 years before that. Bought the car with intentions of restoring it but too many other irons in the fire. I have a clear and clean MA title. Last time is was registered was 1975. VIN number B395007279LRX.

Hello Great site here. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here. I have a 1955 Buick special 2 door post car. I'm not sure how to identify the model? I need to purchase a windshield and the model is mandatory. Could someone please help me out here. Thanks
