This car is one of 2,437 Reatta convertibles made. The tan convertible top and tan leather interior look great in contrast with the black exterior. It has new tires and a new top. Body & wheels are in excellent condition. Interior shows some wear. Current owner has owned and stored this car in winters since 2004. Has 112,000 miles. GREAT RIDE AND UNIQUE LOOK. The Buick Reatta was a hand-made luxurious sports coupe produced at the Reatta Craft Centre in Lansing, Michigan from early 1988 through 1991. At the time of production, separate stations were created with specialized teams of workers to perform work and assembly and then the car was transferred robotically to the next station in a similar way that custom coach builders made vehicles. It was based on a shortened and heavily modified version of the E Body from the Buick Riviera with which it shared its advanced electronics and interior furnishings. Initially offered only as a coupe, a convertible version was added for 1990. It came with a manually-operated top designed by ASC with a glass rear window and electric defroster. When retracted, the top is protected by a rigid tonneau cover giving it a roadster look. It used GMs venerable 3800 V6 and sported a fully independent suspension and front wheel drive. This car also features remote keyless entry which was a new feature on cars of the time.
