  1. Have a GM power antenna. I don't know if this is an Olds antenna or some other GM car. Parts numbers are 302500-318 and 2896870.
  2. Thank you for your reply. Sorry for getting back so late. This got buried in my millions mailings. Jack.
  3. I'm about to replace a spindle on a 1965 Buick Riviera. I got the new spindles but now I'm wondering is there a left and right side? If anyone has an answer I would greatly appreciate it. Also do I have to remove the coil spring for this job? I hope not, lol. Been a long time since I did a spindle replacement and that was on a 1964 Ford Falcon. But, I only replaced the passenger side. That was when Nixon was president. Thanks for any help. Jack.
  4. I pulled the stock radio out of my 65, it's AM only. But, when I looked in the back there was an antenna plug that was split. One went to the radio and one said stereo and the last one I forgot what it said, but it looked like a plug in for a antenna. What am I looking at? Perhaps this is the wrong radio? Thanks.
  5. I have a stock radio in this 65. Nothing fancy. My question is what are the three terminal hookups on the back of this radio? There's nothing marked on it. So I'm not sure which plug is power and which is for the speakers? Thanks.

  7. I think I post this already but I can't find any responses. Replacing the spindle on a 1965 Buick Riviera. Do I have to remove the coil spring to do this job. And I'm getting new stock spindles. Is the a left and a right. If so. How do I know which is which. Ordered these through Summit Racing. I don't think I'll ever use them again. I ordered these on May 24, 2019. I still haven't go them. They are getting them from a company called Classic Performance, out of southern cal. I live in northern, cal. They said they won't be shipping these until June 10, at the earliest. Summit told me they would have them 7 working days from the day I ordered them. Not true. They have no control over the shipping. They are using Classic Performance. I tried to find these, but could only find them a Summit. What a mess.
  8. I'm going to replace the drivers side spindle. Just a question. Do I have to take the coil spring out? If I don't have to that would be a great thing. I haven't done one since Nixon was president, lol. And I'm not lying. Thanks.
  9. Check your coil. Many high speed misfires are do to the coil breaking down. If you have the old style coil. At lower rpms the coil can handle the load. But, as speed increase spark needs to coincide. And if it doesn't then you'll have a misfire.. Try this simple test. After freeway driving. When you park. Feel your coil. If it's unusually hot, that's an indication the coil is failing. If the coil isn't the problem then it may be fuel starvation. Hope that helps.
  10. Need to replace drivers side spindle. Haven't done this job in too many years. Can someone lead me by the hand through the process. My main concern is. Do I have to remove the spring?
  11. I just installed a vacuum modulator on my 1965 Buick Riv. It was shifting late and hard. When I pulled the old one out, it puked tranny fluid all over the place. It's been years since I put one in. I never put one in a early Riviera, but is it normal to get tranny fluid pouring out of the modulator hole when removing it? Thanks.
  12. Would the power booster cause the brakes to go to the floor? No visible leaks and no loss of brake fluid. This is a 1965 Riviera with a suicide master.
  13. Wild shot here? Buick, or, De Soto?
