  1. I ended cutting the bottom of a water bottle . I folded it a little and cut it with a spout. It worked good!
  2. Good morning gentlemen, I’m looking for any pictures or explanation on how you mounted tube shocks on your Buicks. Links to post are welcome. thanks for any help.
  3. Just wanted to thank everyone for all the help finding parts for this old girl. Finally got her up and running today.
  4. I bought this car for drivetrain parts. All body parts and trim pieces are for sale. The front clip is sold, but every thing behind that is available. I’ve read that this model is somewhat rare? Let me know if you need anything.
  5. I think your correct. It’s still on the trailer and I’m not able to see how it’s mounted on the block. I’m going to pull the front clip then the engine in a couple weeks. I’ll try to get some better pics then.
  6. Here is a pic of a 49 I just picked up. The motor mount was definitely lowered i just can’t tell how they dropped on the engine. I can get better pics in a couple weeks when I find time to pull the front clip and engine.
  7. Thanks Greg, I’ll definitely let you know if I need anything. I’m pretty excited to find this. I think it will go really well with the the theme of my car! ( kind of old school hot rod /cruiser) I have a few other projects to finish up in the garage so it might be a slow start.
  8. I now have an intake have rebuilt the carb and thanks to 2carb40 I also have a really nice exhaust manifold. Thanks Greg. Go figure as soon as I find all this stuff I found a great deal on a car with duel carbs and manifolds. Just the way it goes I guess?
