  1. The old-timer is set on selling the entire car, but there are some spare parts located near this car like an intact hood, and maybe a bumper, etc. There might be some more things, too. I am going out there today, which is 11/23/2019. Sorry for not responding earlier but I been working a full-time job; I just lost it so I am able to pick up on things again. Someone asked about a 1940 Cadillac Lasalle which made me check on my previous postings; this one was from almost two years ago. -John Roy (706) 829-5276
  2. Are you still looking for an Auburn V12 engine with chassis? It also has wire wheels, too. I just found all of the previously mentioned parts under a Semi-parts trailer we are about to sell. I am selling some things for an old-timer and a lot of his inventory has been off the radar for years due to his lack of computer skills. I am guess it is from the 1930s but need further advice on pinpointing the exact year on it. Best regards, John Augusta, Georgia
  3. Thanks for your prompt response. I had thought that he said that they were Buick. It is nice to see a restoration in progress (like with you 1939). I may have a hood, too. It was located near the fenders, along with a lot of parts for Ford Model T Trucks. -John
  4. I found these out in the "junk yard" part of the business today. I think that the old-timer said that they belonged to a 1939 Buick, or did he say "Oldsmobile?" If they are for a Buick, what model do you suppose that they came from? These fenders just caught my eye the other day for some reason. I like the headlights, though one has a bit of corrosion on the underbelly.
  5. Here are some pictures of the Buick Engine and Transmission. The Top Head is missing, though.
  6. That is what I thought, too. I asked because my posting was moved to the "Buick-Post War" Section. Thank you for clearing that up for me!
  7. Thanks for the information. The old-timer had 1917 on the engine, but I guess he was wrong. So, it looks as though we have an engine and transmission for a 1927 Model 27 Sedan. I wish that there was more there...he said that it came from a junkyard in Savannah, GA, a few years ago, but the condition has only worsened since then. Here is a dumb question...when someone says "Pre-War Car," what war are we talking about? WWI or WWII?
  8. We have a 1917 Buick located in the yard and the engine/transmission in storage. What would she have been? John P. Roy (706) 829-5276 jpernoroy@gmail.com
  9. If anyone is interested in a 1960s Cadillac for parts, that is the car next to it. Cars everywhere out there...but I think that I have found all of the Buicks.
  10. Buick Special for sale. Will need restoration inside and out, plus an engine. Car is located in August, Georgia. I am attempting to help an old-timer sell some of his cars. John P. Roy (706) 829-5276 jpernoroy@gmail.com
  11. 1963 Buick Lesabre Hardtop. Has a 401 V8 Nailhead Engine, Air Conditioning, Automatic Transmission (Dynaflow), Drum Brakes, and Power Steering. I am having to learn about a lot of cars from many eras as I help to put online a lot of an oldtimer's cars. Your comments are welcome as I learn. [Thank you, Pete Phillips, for helping me nail down the correct year]. We are in Augusta, Georgia. John P. Roy (706) 829-5276 jpernoroy@gmail.com
  12. I have a 1921 Buick Roadster 4 Cylinder for sale. I am assisting an older man in finding homes for some of his cars. What I know about the car is that the engine is on a cast iron block, has a Marvel E Carburetor, 4 Main Bearings, Multiple Disc Clutch, Free Floating Rear Axle, Mechanical Brakes, Sliding Gear Transmission, and Floor Shift Controls. It is on display in a private museum-like setting. We are located just outside of Augusta, Georgia. Best regards, John P. Roy (706) 829-5276 jpernoroy@gmail.com
  13. If I get a chance, I think I will go back out to the place tomorrow where the car is stored in order to take some better pictures. I need to do a little more research on this car so I can sound halfway intelligent about it (which I am not at this time). By next week I should be ready to go with an ad for it. Just wanted to let you guys know that there is a Roadster available. Once I get some better photos I will ask you guys to tell me a little about it from your perspective as experts. Best regards, John
  14. Two Buicks for sale to include a 1956 Buick Special and a 1966 (or so) Buick Lesabre. The Special (Buick 4 C6039616) does not have the Nailhead Engine in it so I am including the Lesabre for that reason; the old-timer I am selling these cars for suggested that I do that. I have included some photos of the cars so that you would have an idea of the condition of both of them. Asking $5,000.00 for both of them. We are located in Augusta, Georgia. John Roy (706) 829-5276 or jpernoroy@gmail.com. Thanks for looking!
