  1. This magnificent little 1911 "Speedster" is on the current cover of "BRASS NOTES" the Veteran Car Club of Australia (Victoria Branch) News-letter. Stay tuned for up-dates on the web-site of the recent run this was on. (www.veterancarclub.org.au) Jay Y, Please let me know if you would like the contact details for the owner (in Australia) he may be able to help, if you don't know him already. Kind Regards, Peter
  2. Can some-one please tell me if admin. have made changes to any settings on the site as previously I have been able to upload photos from my Google Drive (G-drive) straight on to the topic subject. As of Sunday I haven't been able to do this - My computer bloke seems to think this is more with the site administration settings then my computer , hence my question ? It does give the option of "Insert other media" then "Insert existing attachment" which, excludes G-drive. As well as having trouble to transfer photos to "Insert existing attachment"...! Any suggestions please, Thank-you,
  3. That is one magnificent '37 Buick ! I often think of the '37 8/40 Australian Bodied Hearse I missed out on a few years back !! Thanks for your suggestion, PJ
  4. Does any-one else use Google drive to up-load photos ? Any problems?
  5. And to sum : "Lucas Electrics" - How to kill the British Auto Industry.......

  9. Sad remains of the second sedan discovered in a creek Late 1930's ???? Interesting that the front suspension mount is mounted to the very end of the chassis , like a bearing cap !
  10. I found the sad remains of two sedans in a local creek. Hopefully some-one will recognize the body swage lines. Curiosity is killing me !!! Two photos of vehicle one ! Early '30's ????
  11. 1942 President Ambulance - period photo ! May be my car ! - Waiting to hear from historical societies for more photos and information. Keen eyes will notice that the light on this is circular whereas the light on mine is distinctly different - but there is evidence on mine of having been modified as welding is evident. As expected, this is a civilian Ambulance - and not military. It also makes sense to have something like this stationed at "Bulli" as "Bulli Pass" over the years has been a notorious accident spot on very steep, winding road south of Sydney made worse by dirt/gravel road no doubt around this time. Unknown date of this photo - but no registration plates, so maybe, its when its new. ie (delivered). Will post more details when known. Cheers,
