Hello all, my 1988's parking light button is stuck. It is lite up on the console and the actual head & tail lights are on. I cannot get it to reset by pushing the button, pulling the fuse nor disengaging the battery. You know, when all else fails, unplug and replug theory. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The same thing happened to me about a year ago on my '88 Reatta. Parked it, went in to work, came out 9 hours later, cranked her up, went to put in gear and the automatic shifter was loose and would not move to another gear. I had to have it towed ($120) to a great mechanic that had worked on my car previously and he said what happened was that a plastic clip that connected the cable to the shifter (my auto verbiage may be incorrect) broke and to get to it and replace it would mean pulling the transmission. So, about $1000 and a week later, the red monster was back on the road. That was a very expensive piece of plastic. I hope yours is an easy fix and less expensive. Tricia

Haha! Definitely better than a yard rake! I put them on the car. They can be removed with no damage because they are adhered with double sided 3M type tape.

I also have some extras that are what I think unique. She comes with a miniature model of her still in the box with the plastic around it, the owners repair manual,the dealership brochure, a cassette tape that sounds like a commercial about the car, the shipping manifest and extra parts that I couldn't tell you what they are other than 4 brake discs. She easily picks up her butt and runs like a dream.

Her headlights have eyelashes, that is what you are seeing. I live 20 min north of Alexandria Louisiana & am asking $5000. The only existing problems is a leak in the AC hose, the antenae does not go up (all is in place but dad has not had time to connect it) but the radio works and catches stations regardless and if you don't drive it for 5 days you have to pop the battery because the power seems to be draining somewhere in the car. Or this is normal, I don't know but I don't think so. I bought this at an estate auction two years ago and have had some work done on it but for health reasons I need to find her another home.

I have an 88 red w/ tan exterior, 82300 miles no major issues.
