  1. My daily driver is a '06 Toyota Tundra 4x4. It has all the safety features I want, airbags and anit-lock brakes. But, its more truck than I need and I have thought about getting a new, smaller truck. Thing is, I absolutely hate touchscreens and therefore will drive the Toyota, probably forever. I wonder how many folks hold off on new vehicles for the same reason.
  2. I believe Kevin is performing some maintenance. I notice a message yesterday that said the site might be down for a bit.
  3. This reminds me of the farmer who put up a two foot high fence all around his field. A passerby stopped one day and asked the farmer what the fence was for. The farmer replied that the fence kept the wolverines out of the field. The passerby told the farmer that wolverines had not been sighted in the area for over fifty years. To wit the farmer replied, "See, it works!"
  4. Happy St. Patrick's Day from the far north... '47 Packard Custom Super Clipper, taken last fall at harvest time. We plan to watch "The Quiet Man" tonight....
  5. Have you perused Steele's catalog? They carry several generic rubber extrusions. Best of luck, Mark
  6. Hi Rob, You might do a search on packardinfo.com. There have been several discussions about installing these switches and good ones to use. Mark
  7. You might try this outfit.... Auto Body Panels & Rust Repair Panels - Classic 2 Current Fabrication (c2cfabrication.com)
  8. Pretty sure that car and photo are from the Fountainhead Museum in Fairbanks, AK. Amazing place. Mark
  9. I cringe every time I see modifiers to "unique", as in "the car is very unique". Either an object is one of a kind or it isn't.
  10. Hey Keiser, I got one of those last year as a gift. Kept me harmlessly occupied for a quite a while. Make sure you look under the box spacer for rubber bands and toothpicks. Instructions were all illustrations (no text) and I found that a bit of a challenge. Looks cool with my other automobilia.
  11. Thanks Matthew - I thought the pinned items were the result of some errant click on my part.
  12. Miss Ashley - I thought a response from an Alaska might round out the responses. Best of Luck. Mark
  13. What gauge battery cables are you using? Size 00 is recommended for my Packard. Good Luck Mark
