Would one from a club coupe work, or a sedan?

What do people do for missing back glass? Does anyone make reproductions?

The title says it all. I'm fixing to purchase a rough but savable 1948 D-24 business coupe. I know where I can find a complete 1948 club coupe that I can use as a donor car and hopefully I will be able to bring it back to life. Pics to follow soon.

I am looking at a 48 Dodge business coupe which has no motor, transmission or title. I know where a club coupe is that I can get those from. I've noticed that on some of the cars the rear bumper says Fluid Drive but this one is blank. Does that mean this one has a standard transmission?

I am proud to say I actually found a Desoto in a barn! I have a 46 Desoto taxi as well as a 47 club coupe. I had arranged to go look at a Desoto a man was advertising on craigslist but he was calling it a Dodge I figured I could use it for parts for my taxi or vice versa. When I went to look at it the guy that I was talking to wasn't home but his dad was there. I told him I was there to look at the Desoto and he started walking back towards the woods. Halfway there he started veering towards this block building where I found this. I quickly asked if he was interested in selling it, he said yes but his son would determine the price. I had a price set in my head that I would offer him if he took too long to decide but luckily he made me an offer of 2k less than I was going to. Well arrangements have been made and it will be coming home with me as well as its brother 8)

Can anyone interpret a data plate from a 47 DeSoto coupe for me?
