  1. I have a V41 HP short block. Assembly date on the top pad is 1 27....January 27th 1964. I'm in Canada.
  2. Plus this oddity was on E Bay last year. 50 Imperial....one of the last built ,19 cars from the last serial #. It's a Hemi ! I corresponded with the owner in NC. He sent off to Chrysler Historical for info and they had no record of the car. The Vin plate has the JMC in front of the VIN # and those weird crossed things at the end...they look like German stick grenades lol. Too bad this car was toasted .
  3. Don't forget about General MacArthur's Imperial.
  4. I think a fair number of the 50-53 Imperial and Windsor 8 Passengers were used by the Military. I have a 50 Windsor Ex US navy car....has a removable B Post on the right side maybe for a stretcher ?
  5. The door logo appears to say Dieu Fills Dames. I thought maybe military....the top of the logo almost looks like a hammer head shark . Red might be the original colour.
  6. Strange place to have to jam a tire into when you have the spacious trunk right above it. Must be used on 8 passenger and Limos only...regular Imperials don't seem to have that cubby hole.
  7. The parts books show a "steering column clock package" part # 2240424 available on 61 and 62 Valiants and Lancers. Never seen one .
  8. This rough 52 is for sale on Craigslist in Texas. What is the hidden compartment for behind the rear bumper ? The original colour-red is kind of strange for an 8 passenger Imperial. Anybody recognize the coat of arms/logo on the door ? Nice cheap project....somebody needs to save it.
  9. 108 built for the Canadian market. I scrapped one 35 years ago. Canuk fender tags are unique...made of aluminum they have the body #, paint code and trim code on them and that's it. And yes ,Plymouth dash board.
  10. I had my park cable break on my 65 Belvedere 4 door at the beach about 10 years ago.....had to flat deck it home. I'm currently working on a 65 Polara 440 model wagon .Using a later mechanical shift 727 and a 66 column. The 65 firewall has a bigger hole in it for the cable shift mech so you would have to use the 66 column and tow plate as well. Might be better to keep the Impy stock though...you would have to change the transmission as well for the shift linkage; add the bell crank for the shifter linkage and 66 kick down is completely different from 65. Complicated. We just rebuilt the 413/727 in a customers 65 Imperial convertible. Took the mechanic 4 hours to set up the park cable....what a pain but it's working well now.
  11. Looks like its part # 679888 which is the part # for a 1938 P5,P6,D8 &D9 transmission case. Casting #'s are typically 1 digit off the part # on a lot of mechanical parts. I have a copy of the 1938 parts book dated Nov 1 ,1938. It's a Canadian book...# WM-3561. The 4-7 is a date code...possibly 4th quarter 1937...maybe 4th month 1937 .
  12. Nice Ride ! Your 300 is T7 Tuscan Bronze Metallic with a V1L Champagne Vinyl top and the optional M5L cloth and vinyl bucket seat interior in Champagne. The SPD (scheduled production date ) is 109 which is January 9 1969. Your car is nicely optioned....the left power bucket and the 8 track are both uncommon.
