  1. Hello, I have a 1931 Pontiac where the starter turns over very slowly. Battery is new. This is a 6 volt system. Can the starter be tested. The car has always started slowly. Sometimes after a few revolutions, it speeds up in the starting process probably because some of the pistons are firing? Any help?

I just ordered a set on Ebay 1855520RP for 11.00 plus shipping - sale info below. They look like they will work. Thank you for your helpl 1928 1932 Pontiac All 6 cylinder Ignition Points Set, C1855520RP | eBay
  5. Thank you. The only one I am havinng trouble with is the points. No one seems to be able to match the numbers. You had a Delco number CS75. The only thinkg we could find close was a CS765. Is this possible or do you know of another source? Mike

  8. Hi I have several heads. What is the casting number that is on the head. Are the spark plug holes the standard diameter or are they larger. Mike
  9. That would be fine with me. I was told that the old plugs were very hard to find and also that the engine does not perform as well as it does with the newer plugs. Have you found that to be true? Which plug would I be looking for to fit the 7/8 pt head?
  10. Makes sense. I have the machining abilitiy to "adjust" the thread adaptor to allow the new sparkplug to sit exactly where it should. Does this sound reasonable?
  11. I have a set of heads that fit the 28 - 30 I am told. Do you have the casting numbers of the ones that you need? I can send you photos. Mike Beno
  12. Hello Ihave a 31 pontiac that needs the heads replaced. The heads I have use cnvention sized plugs. I have a set of earlier plugs that is identical on the back but it uses the older style lqrger plug hole. Is that a thread adapter made or i can machine one to bush down and fit the newer pllug. Does anyone see a problem with this? Wher exactly should the plug gap {spark} be sitting with relation to the bottom of the head at the top of the cylinder. I can send photos of what I have. Thanks Mike
