  1. Does someone make Reprp’s of the plastic face for the ‘49 and ‘50 DeSoto’s? Are they the same in Color? Mine looks to be clear but I have seen yellow ones also. I’m interested in purchasing one. Thanks.
  2. Are the finned Aluminum Heads still available for 356 Packard's? Thanks
  3. We have an old radiator and forgot what it fits... The plate shows: Modine Mfg. Co. Model no. 1A-5255DP042 Can anyone out there tell me what it fits? Thanks!
  4. Do you know if they will fit a 1921 Single Six? Thanks.
  5. Art, I have not had any luck on that issue either. I will check through my stuff but I'm pretty sure all I have is later 6s...not '21...more like '22/'23. Ill let you know what I find. I'm interested to hear about your car... thanks, Rob 1921-1923 Packard Single Six Roster Keeper
  6. Robert, Howdy! I may be able to help you. I'm the new Roster Keeper for the Packard Club. I am also a '21 Single Six owner. The Owners Manual is a great resource for most aspects of the car. You can find them on eBay. I will be glad to photograph anything you may need to see etc... I am also "working" through a few things these next couple months on my car. It is amazing how much you can find on the internet. Tell me about your car... engine Number, Firewall number? etc... Are you on the Roster? Take a look at Packards Online You may find your car. If not... let me know your information and I'll make sure your included. Where are you located? Rob

  8. Howdy. I have owned a Custom eight Club coupe since 1989 and I have 1 complete Custom 4 door and another less frame. I have many extra wheels. I would like to get rid of much of this if not all. I have always had everything stored inside. They have been stored inside since the early late 70's early 80's prior to my purchase in the late 90's. I am also willing to trade for just about anything auto or automobilia or aircraft related. 9. Nice. I had to hand trim mine and they were as good as I could get for a Junior car at the time. They were attached with contact cement if I remember and I had to first level the "flutes" in the running board itself. The material cost over $400 back in the 80's...then the time and labor to get it right... Wow. $800 is a great deal to get them correct and vulcanized. That is fantastic.
  10. When I restored my '38 6 back in 1985 I was able to buy new mat material from STEELE. SInce that time...really, I think in the late 80's, they stopped making it. It was a kit of sorts and it required cutting but the results looked good. Two ideas: 1.) Maybe someone at Steele's Rubber could give some direction. 2. ) Try to contact Harland Ranney...the Roster Keeper for the 1938 Sixes and Eights. I sold both my '38's back in the 90's. Take care.
  11. Awesome Trailers. They can build anything you want. They work through a dealer so you will need to work through a regional retailer/dealer. I called the folks at the factory and they were very very helpful. You could even go to the factory and pick up your unit. They can build you a totally aluminum trailer. I needed to get an 8' tall interior height and I liked the styling of the InTech over the ATC;s and the Featherlite's. I have a 24' V-nosed (8' interior ht.) Triple B custom lightweight steel framed, flush aluminum paneled exterior skinned trailer. 16" 8 lug wheels, big heavy duty axels, LED lights, Floor winch, electric rear door, 5' escape door, front door, electric lights and Jack. BUT... I don't have a work bench and cabinets up front which I would like. My trailer also has a wood floor. Maybe one day...I'll go for the InTech. Currently, I have everything I need and more...It just isn't new and fashionable like the InTech. I would ask a lot of questions to the old timers about axels and wheels etc... There are a bunch of trailers out there but many of them are not something you would want although they may look good etc...
  12. Ben, Sorry for the delay in my response. No. Nothing currently broken. There are things I would like to do but I would not like to put it down for a month or two while I fix these things. Biggest issue... the radiator. As for the Starter and Generator...I was always taught as a child, in this hobby, to have an extra Water Pump, generator and Starter with me at all times. Hah! The radiator may be cleaned a bit and it may become a non-issue. I may use some of these items only temporarily until I restore the original parts etc... We use the car as a family weekly. It is a great, fun car to drive. I guess I could "Borrow" some of these items. Thanks, Rob
