Thanks for the ID as a 1950 Ford. Did it have a model name?

Hi all - Anyone know what kind of car this is? It was my mother's first car. The photo is professionally framed with a stamp on the back that says August 25, 1950. When I was young, we just called it the green jalopy! Thanks!

Thank you eveyone for the car identification. We had guessed maybe a Buick and it's great to have it confirmed. Sorry about the 'Roadster' in the title. I chalk that up to age!

I recently found this picture of my g-grandparents in their car. The license plate style was in use in Rhode Island from 1912 - 1917. Any idea what kind of car it is? Thanks!
