Noma? car in upstate New York

Long story short. Searching an old shuttered salvage yard, being crushed out. In the shed was a 1922 Noma car. Chassis redone in the '7's, body off and stored. Complete car. Alumunim body touring car. One-owner car. Here is the kicker. Owned by "Leggs" Diamond, the mobster. Impounded from his hideout after his murder in 1933. Stored since. Only Noma left? Current owner (grandson of yard's founder) wants offers on the car. Is anyone interested?? He tried selling many years ago, most people thought he meant Nomad. I cannot find any info on Noma cars. He did have original company fliers, etc. It has a Continental 6 engine.
  11. This just showed up at the garage, but it can't stay long. Too many other cars coming in. Parked inside since 1949, engine is out and apart. VERY solid, good start. Hate to cut up for parts and then see the body rat rodded. Any suggestions or interest ?
  12. Found in an old closed dealership. Part number 987421 a bag a goat hair !?!? No, really it's goat hair. For stuffing seats? Oil bath cleaner,? Anyone have a clue.

    Early grill ID help please

More of the hoard to ID. this was to a large car, was once chrome plated still a little chrome left in last photo. Also the hole in the bottom is threaded. If it had a crank hole cover, it was threaded too. Most of this stuff has been in storage for over 40 years. That is when the family believes he stopped going to Hersey and other swap meets. Any help would be appreciated. This is just the beginning of this hoard, there is two trailers full of just doors alone. All seem to be early 1920's and earlier. PS I am not selling anything at this time. Just need help ID'ing what I acquired.

    Early grill ID help please

Thank you, I think you may have it. Also, uin the same box is a cowl light marked twolite, that appears to be from the same car. That was to be one of my next posts.

    More touring car doors

Here is another set of early touring doors. Similar to the other set I posted earlier. Notice top guard on top of door lip. Hinges are similar to the sets of early dodge doors from this collection. Both doors are approximately 22 inches across. I have both sides (four doors). Unfortunately this gentleman never wrote anything down, had it all in his head. Most of this stuff has been in storage for over 40 years. That is when the family believes he stopped going to Hersey and other swap meets. Any help would be appreciated. More touring car doors

    Thank you Greg.
  19. Hello, I have a question about a fender I recently acquired. It is marked both 1931 series 50 and 1932 series 50. Are they both the same fender? This came from a large collection of Pre war parts I just got. Most were labeled but what isn't is turning out very hard for me to ID. Thanks everyone for looking in advance.

    Early touring doors ID help

Got these with several other sets of touring doors (more posts soon) and boatload of very early parts. I have this set (both sides, total of 4 doors). Notice leather cover on top of each door, each door (front and rears) has pull handle, Square holes for top insert. Cool hinges, open very uniquely. Last photo show approximate dimensions. Anyone have a clue ??
