  1. Thanks, Greg. I will give it a try. I did post on there then a few days later the site changed, so I will try again. Thank you. Morley (in Canada)
  2. Here is a picture of the car that the gentleman home built. If it helps any. The year is suppose to be 1921
  3. Good morning, Curti. Good eye, the guy used it as a stationary engine for years and pieced a bunch of parts together. Has a motorcycle gas tank, but emblems are removed. Thank you
  4. Good morning, Don't know if North American, but the '20s owner was in Canada. The mag is a Robert Bosch ZU4 No 3208884 S66. The carb is a Brass Zenith R 3-1/2 (cast on back); looks like 3056 stamped into a raised section next to. Patent 1908 on top. Not many numbers on the castings. On the right hand side of the block looks to be a 525 F. On the head 398 F. I'll see what else i can dig up on it. Thank you.
  5. Hello, I was wondering if anyone recognized what this engine might be. Don't seem to be able to find much casting info on it. Told it is pre 1921. Not sure if car, bike, tractor, or stationary etc. Have been told a gentleman made his own car in 1921, then years later used the engine as a generator. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Morley
  6. Bonjour, Merci Oui, nous avons été en contact avec le club Delahaye en France et quelques autres clubs, nous attendons d'entendre en arrière. Je vous remercie
  7. Good evening everyone, I am wondering if anyone might recognize where this image is from ? And if there is any assorted text that goes with it. I am hoping you Horseless Carriage fans will remember seeing it in a book or something. I work for a museum in Ottawa, Canada and we believe this might be the one we have in our collection. We found this photo on the web, and are hoping for any more info. Year & location would be great. We have traced it to the Cameron Peck Collection, where he bought it from a gentleman in Paris in 1950. Thank you for any help/info Morley

  10. Hello, i was wondering if annyone could let me know if i would be able to use a 55 Hydramatic in my 54 Coupe de Ville ? Mine needs more than just a rebuild & i have found a well priced 55 i would rebuild and install. Thank you for any info
  11. I am running a Flat-o-matic kit in mine & it works great ! I do wish i had a forth gear, but i am doing most my crusing around town... in a 2000lbs hot rod. I had to do a few minor mods, to get the kit to work with my 48, but it was all simple. Gene @ Flat-o-matic was great to deal with. Good luck Morley
