This originally had a vinyl top, now a working convertible. Black acyrlic enamel, shaved door handles, emblems, trim, deck, vents at hood are smoothed and peak in hood removed. 18" american torque thrust with new tires, brakes, updated dual reservoir and power booster. 401 bored 30 over with performance cam and dual quad intake with new carter 500 cfm carbs. GS valve covers with new matching air cleaner. 2" dual exhaust with 2 chamber flow masters. Less than 3000 miles on engine rebuild and trans. Muncie 4 speed with posi rear differential. Interior is original with GS steering wheel and Hurst Z-gate shifter carefully mounted in original console. Car is impressive to drive. Pictures show car without bumper and misc. window and headlight trim that I will install when finished with polishing the paint. Car needs interior and top to finish project. I modified the ash tray to accomidate guages that could be hidden. Also hid the cd player behind the a/c vent, utilizes a remote to adjust volume etc or access it by rotating the right side down. The shifter uses the pull lever to get into 1st and 2nd and drops automatically to 3rd and 4th. The lever on the right is for reverse. Small bulge in the left side of the console is where the shifter is mounted on the side of the transmission. Linkage was fabricated to put it in the original location. Door panels are not installed, as picture indicates. Back seat needs to be made and top bows finished.
