Chev Fleetmaster
LHD, so either Canadian, or Australian delivered. Motor was late '30s(?) and a pain to recondition. Original fibre timing gear was suspect, so got a "new old stock" one, but that separated from its hub. In the end, had to use non-original Alloy gear 😞

La Salle 1934
La Salle found in a barn in Denmark, 2018 - standing stored away since the 50`s.
In 1935, a few units was send to Copenhagen, for being sold out toe Scandinavian costumers.
This is one of them. Very rare.
I dont know how rare this model is in US, but it seams like there is much more to find when I look for 1937 and up.
I want to save this unit, and bring t into the the original glory, which it has for many years ago.
For this, I need some help, and guide from people who can be at my assistance.

mitchellpierre
These photos were originally posted by "antiquez" in this forum category in 2016 as images from glass plate negatives. I have simply reversed and cleanup up the images. They all appear to be Packards from the long time dealer in Honolulu von Hamm-Young Co., Ltd. This dealer also handled the American Austin car when it was introduced in 1930.

1930 Marquette Model 30 2 Door Sedan
This is my 1930 Marquette Model 30- 2 Door Sedan. The car was built
by Buick for 1 year. I owned this car in 1969 and had to sell it. Little did I know
I was to get it back (the same car) after 44 years. Blessed. It's a fun car to drive. 6 cylinder flathead engine. About 67 horsepower. Enjoy some of the pictures. Peter Floral City, Florida

kemosavy
Previous to automobile manufacturing lower cost of production than cars produced in the service industry, put these entrepreneurs out of business. Today the federal regulations on manufactures no longer can produce an inexpensive car compared to the simplistic design cyclecar shown here. The construction photos of the lightweight prototype gets over 100 mpg and can be assembled by the average mechanic's shop for under $4000.00

Lanchester 30hp 1930
Layout: Front Engine rear wheel drive with a chassis frame and separate body. The body is a copy of a car made for Nancy Lanchester (George Lanchester’s daughter) using the original drawings created by George Lanchester in the 1920's.
Engine: A straight 8 cylinder engine of 4.5 litres with overhead camshaft and dual ignition systems. The bore and stroke is 3.1 inches x 4.5 inches. The original Zenith carburettor has been replaced with an updraught SU. Petrol is delivered via an Autovac.
Transmission: 4 speed crash gearbox with a torque tube and underslung worm drive back axle.
Suspension, Steering and Brakes: The suspension is via cantilever rear springs and semi elliptic front springs. The brakes are 15in drums all round operated by Rod and Cable with linkages of Lanchester’s own design. The Steering box is unique to Lanchester.
Interesting elements:
The brake actuation is assisted by a Clayton Dewandre vacuum servo.
Instrument lighting is via a sheet of edgelite Perspex very much state of the art for 1930. The rear seat passengers have an Auster Screen to protect them from the elements.
