I just wanted to take the time to remind everyone of the Ontelaunee Region's upcoming show Das Awscht Fescht. This 3 day event attracts over 3,000 cars of all years and types. Friday is the "variety show" and allows for the street rods to strut their stuff along with trucks, tractors, motorcycles, and other unusual vehicles. Saturday is an antique and classic show and Sunday is car club day for various antique and classic car clubs. This year the region honors Crosleys as their feature car and there will be over 60 of these little wonders on display. There is also a raffle of a 49 Crosley Wagon, 47 Tolkheim Gas Pump, 32 inch flat screen TV, and a couple of Crosley radios being held in the big tent. (if you want info on that contact me off board). Please consider attending and come to the big tent to see the largest display of Crosleys outside of their national show ever. There is also food, games, and a nearby toy show for young and old alike.

Skyking...It will make a neat display over on that part of the show field on Sunday with all the Mets and the Crosleys in the same area!!! As light as that side will bee, we might cause the whole park to tilt to one side!!!

Dave, I'm looking forward to that sight! Even though the cars are small, they'll take up most of that area. Maybe at the end of the show, we can all race...............

Please stop over and introduce yourself. Also we will be looking for volunteers to do our exercise on the Crosley Quick assemble car. Perhaps you would like to be part of the team that tries to break our 7 minute record!! We have a Crosley that has been "reengineered" to be completely disassembled and quickly reassembled by a team of amateurs with a person reading the instructions. It is a fun exercise that we will do a couple of times a day at the show.
As to races....I will participate if You guys promise to only use first gear!!!!

Dave I think I talked to you the last time I was there, 2010. I believe you had your Farm O Road there. I may be mistaken, but I will stop by. I don't know if I can beat 7 minutes. Sounds like fun..............
I just got a summons for jury duty. I hope this doesn't mess up my trip!! We'll see. I'm registered and my hotel is paid.

I wanted to thank the Ontelaunee Region on another well run event. The Crosley Club had a great time and enjoyed the event immensely. the raffle was a great success and I turned the title over to the happy winner this evening. For other clubs considering being the feature car in the future, if we can help you on making the event a success for you...feel free to ask!!!

While this is near the top and fresh in people's minds, it is a good time to remind all that they will feature Buicks next year and we hope for a good turnout. For those in the BCA Northeast Region we will be postimng more info within our group, and the BCA and AACA sections, as you need not be a BCA member to participate according to DAF regulations.
