Very nice. Both of them. I have photos of the actual cars.

Did you commission the work? Looks like he missed a bit of photochopping on the second picture.

Re: Commissioned automotive art

A friend of mine was commissioned to do the art for a man in L.A./Newport Beach, California area (Crevier BMW). These were the prelims.

There's a word for that type of photography. Do you know what it is?

My wife commissioned this clay model of my car from http://www.cartoonsbybooth.net/ in early 2005.

We didn't commission this but it's an original watercolor by Dan McCrary

I couldn't help but notice this original painting hanging up in the showroom of a prominent Packard collector, featuring one of his cars.

Re: Commissioned automotive art

That was the poster art for the Glenmoor Gathering a couple of years ago. The artist and his wife are very interesting people. That's the Glenmoor Country Club in the background.

The model in this piece is more heavily clothed than his normal work.

Drawing from sign painter artist Bob Behounek. See restoration project for 1936 Divco S model ice truck for details.
Thanks
