Which is better to be an Automotive or Mechanical Engineering?

I like cars and whats inside them. All I think about is making my dream car and to tune up my car to make it fast. I just like fast cars. But I live in United Arab Emirates and their is no Automotive engineering major in my country but a mechanical engineering major is available here. I want to take your advice is it better to study Automotive engineering in Germany or just study Mechanical Engineering here in my country? Thanks a lot

I believe that mechanical engineering will give you a broader wide range engineering background. You will know much more about a wider range of mechanical study.
There will also be a much wider job career choice with this area of study.

    I am a mechanical engineer.
I can work anywhere with my study background~ Not just in the automotive industry.

Good Luck in your future study !
