I've heard there were over 600 songs written about the automobile. Think I'm over half way to completing the collection now, but every so often something comes to light that I've not heard or or seen before. I especially like those that are about particular cars - Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, etc. There are some really rare ones out there too. I've managed to save images of some of my favoites. Here are a few to get the ball rolling. Who else collects or has a few?

Thanks Howard, got that one. There were a couple of different songs written about the Maxwell. I'll post a few more photos later when I have some spare time -whatever that is!
Ebay used to be a pretty good source but it's been a long time since anything has turned up that I don't already have in the collection.

Your library has a folder on sheet music as well. These items won't show up in our online catalog yet, but they are housed in our misc. filing cabinets.

I knew the library had a selection but didn't see these last time I was there! I've been compling a list of all known music about cars (or with cars illustrated). I'll send a copy for the library. Here are a few that are about specific car brands - enjoy!
