I was at an auction about 1989 and met an older gentleman from Texas who claimed that he had the largest antique motorcycle collection in the country. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. Does anybody on this forum know who that could have been?

I didn't know if anyone would be able to place who that could have been, as the honors of having the largest collection in the country probably change from time to time. Amazing that you got him started on the road to having the biggest motorcycle collection. How big did the collection get?

I haven't seen E.J. for many years. His nephew Lonnie Isam was the motivation behind the collection. Last I heard over 800 bikes and that was about 10 years ago. To top it off they are mostly very rare and very desirable machines.
