Has anyone seen the new security auto contact where you drive one tire of your vehicle onto the flat plate when parked which is linked wirelessly to your existing home alarm system. If the wheel is moved off the plate the alarm will sound and notify the alarm company's central station?

Have not seen it, but it sounds like a good idea. Now if they made one that detected someone stepping onto that plate to steal parts or vandalize, THAT would be GREAT! Or better yet, ZAPPING them as they step on it so they will learn to leave other people's stuff alone.
