    Reverse-threaded wheel lug bolts for 1949 Chrysler?

    Where can I find reverse-threaded wheel lug bolts for a 1949 Chrysler? Have tried all local auto parts stores, at least one of which stocks Dohrman (sp?) products, but no luck.

    If they are the same as used on Plymouth (Chrysler part number 856981) then check for NAPA part TWD WA2592. That was a fairly recent cross reference I found but, at the moment, it does not seem to come up on the NAPA Online web site so it may no longer be available.

    Royal, Windsor cars use a smaller bolt than the Saratoga, NewYorkwer and Imperial. Which car do you have? How many do you need?

    roberts and/or bernbaum has them. they also are on ebay regularly. skyler

    The correct term "left hand threaded" in place of "reverse threaded" might help you as you ask around.
