The time has come to part with some of the stable. I hate to do it but I only have 2 drivers in the house, me and the wife, and we are hard at work getting our Packards up to par, and our dart convertibles. We got this car last millenium, and rather than part it we looked at it and thought it was so ugly that it was interesting enough and unique enough that we decided to restore it. It was all there except the floors, rockers, and rear 1/4's. I rounded up a parts car that I paid more for than the 440(did not restore the parts car because it was minus the drive train and it was a lower model(330)). After combining the parts car with the main car we have an 85-90% restored vehicle that runs, drives, and stops($1,200 worth of brake parts from the parts car). this is a 225 slant-6 4 door car. Solid bronze in color. Everything is on the car and the only thing that is not 100% functional are the push button heater controls, everything else works. It is a solid push button transmission car. The interior could use a little freshening up to be a solid #3 car. I have a lot of exta parts from the 330 that go with the car. I have the chrome pieces for the hood and the trunk, I just have not had the time to put them on. The tires do not have 500 miles on them. The bumpers have not been re-chromed as this car was built as a driver and not a top show car. It has 65,000 original miles on it. I am asking $4,900/or B.O. If interested e-mail me at home at lordladymopak@webtv.net. I have not only pictures of the car in current state but of the restoration process as well if you are interested. I am the second owner of the car and can contact the son of the original owner. I offered him the car first but he declined, go figure.
