Will a 1948 pontiac flathead 8 and hydramatic fit into a 1948 oldsmobile that had a flathead 8 and a hydramatic without a lot of work???

hi, this shouldn't be hard to do, same type transmission and trans mounting, just determine where the new engine front mount frame holes should be, cause i doubt that both straight eights were the same length. so this should be fairly simple and easy to do. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor, POCI
