Did we really have to know about the whole drag thing?

That looks like an absolute hoot. Good luck with your charity project.

Re: Packin31 in Showbiz

Hi Susan,

Thanks. We raised $10,000+ which we will use to money to buy food to fill food pantries, give eye exams, glasses and hearing aids to those in need.

Mrpushbutton,
I don't dress like that everyday. It was alot of fun and all for a good cause.

Re: Packin31 in Showbiz

Hi Tom. Wow, $10,000+ that is some chunk of change. And all for such a good cause and things that are so important. I have had to wear glasses since the second grade. I know how expensive they are. Thanks to Lions Clubs everywhere people get the eye care they might not otherwise get.

A car club friend of ours at one time was the Governor of the Rotary Club in Virginia. The primary cause they raise money for is to provide iodized salt to third world countries to ward off the thyroid diseases that not getting enough iodine causes.

Service organizations are wonderful.

Charity golf tournaments have about been done to death around here. Your review sounds like fun.

Re: Packin31 in Showbiz

Hi Susan,

When we did the first one last year we didn't know what to expect. Since it was a big hit we decided to do it again this year. Who knows we may do it again next year. I never thought I could get up on stage in front of a crowd either dressed up or even not dresses up. This year was much easier and I had fun doing it. We have other fun raisers but this one has been the best one.

Re: Packin31 in Showbiz

Tom, what else is involved? Dancing, singing? I see a key board! BTW, if that's what it takes to be a star let me know. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Re: Packin31 in Showbiz

Wayne,

Yes dancing, singing that is if you can or lip singing. The keyboard was just a prop in last years show.
