I like the smaller Lagonda's, they are eyecatching!!
Must admit it took me some time to remember Dixie Flyer, first thaught of Thomas Flyer, but finally I new what it was. Have never seen one downhere.
About projects/sagas we know where you stand, we are working on a 1928 Studebaker Dictator Touring, it's taking already 6 years and still going on! Here some pics!
Bon courage!

Yahoo, we found the leak!
Block and cilinder head are okay, so it has to be the head gasket. I took everything to a revision workshop and they checked it all out, no damages. So, we have them make a new head gasket and are going to put it all together again!
Hope it's not cold overhere to make a testdrive!
But I'm a happy women today, you can imagine.
Holland, watch out, I'm back on the road again next year...!
Beware of the red hare!!

Hello From another Alvis owner located in the western US. My car is a 1947 Alvis TA-14 Carbodies DHC. I have finally acquired a donor Mulliner sedan to use for parts to complete the DHC. Your tourer is a nice looking vehicle. I also like the Lagonda Rapier shown elsewhere on this forum. Do you run across many TA-14's in the Netherlands? I visited your country two summers ago, pretty scenery. I am looking to locate left hand steering parts to convert my TA-14 to drive a bit safer here in the US. If you know of any boned out cars, with left hand steering, please drop a note. Good luck with your engine work. I have a daughter named Corinne...much like Carine.
Regards From Utah,
Alan

Yes, I'm not the red ha(i)re!
The bunny is why I got the car, I like bunnies a lot and so my father said in 1977; if you like the hare you have to take all of it in the deal!!
The hare is special for the 12/50 type I've got, the Speed 20 or 25 has an eagle as a mascotte. But I like the hare, I can't tell you how much fun this little roadster gave in the past years. I love Studebaker also very much, but this one is so special to me!
I didn't have a better pic on my computer, but if I get the chance to make one I'll post it!
Thanks for looking West!
Thanks for looking!
Coincidence that your daughters name is close to mine!
I hope she drives your car in the future or present!
I'm still one of few women driving them, especially pre war cars.
I'll check it out for your parts, send you the email address from our Dutch Alvis Owners Club in a private message.
We got quite some TA-14's down here, don't know exactly but there are some in the club.
I put a pic down here, if you look closely you can see the hare on my car behind my left.
My dad has one of those hares in his mascot collection. His wife is a big "bunny" lover, and he bought it for her. He probably knew what it was for, but I didn't. Thanks for the specifics.

Hi West!
Well, if your father want's to sell it one day, you know now there's another woman who likes hares just like your father's wife!
I would love to have an extra to display it at home.
The ones you see on Ebay are often not exactly the same, the paws are different. The one I showed is the real thing!
If your dad has a Studebaker Atalanta for sale tell me please, I'm looking for one for my 1928 Dictator.

I'm sure my dad's bunny is the real thing as well. He bought it from his good friend, the late W.C. Williams, who wrote the "bible" on mascots.
Here's a photo of the Studebaker ornament you're looking for.
