New Riviera Lover
Hi,
I am new to this sight but have read through almost all of the posts from last few weeks. I have been thinking about getting a classic car for a while now. I was looking at all the usuals, camaro, chevelle, nova, etc. Then I saw an episode of Fast N' Loud where they showed a '64 Riviera. It reminded me of a car my friend had when I was in high school. I had a '70 Pontiac LeMans Sport, but I remembered how much I liked his car. It is very unique compared to the other "muscle cars" of the mid 1960's. I look forward to learning what I can from you folks. I have basic automotive knowledge, tune up, brakes, belts etc. I am looking for a car that runs but needs to be restored. I like the '63 & '64 but the '65 is my first choice. I hope to let everyone know in a few months that I'm a new Riviera owner.

Re: New Riviera Lover
just my opinion-no matter what year you get-try to buy a southern car or one that has a good structure or flooring.this will save you alot of grief.plan on spending more-but final work needed will be worth it.dont jump at first thing you see.your doing the right thing following this forum.these people know what there talking about-theve all been there.t.nugent roa 12969.
